US officials conclude Megaspeed executive close to Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is a Chinese intelligence asset
The New York Times reports that US spy agencies concluded Alice Huang (Huang Le), a top executive at Singapore-based data center firm Megaspeed already under scrutiny for possibly steering Nvidia AI chips to China, was passing information to Beijing, and that surveillance showed she had a close relationship with Jensen Huang. Trump was briefed about a year ago and took no action, and Huang has not received a defensive briefing. Nvidia said his meetings with her were ordinary customer interactions and that Megaspeed received no sensitive information; Megaspeed said it has hired outside counsel to investigate.
