Meta said Monday it will raise up to $95 billion in equity to pay for AI infrastructure and superintelligence work. It launched about $35 billion in underwritten offerings, $22.5 billion of Class A common stock and $12.5 billion of mandatory convertible preferred, and plans an at-the-market program of up to $60 billion once its new non-voting Class C shares start trading, expected in early 2027. The FT reported Nvidia, AMD and Broadcom will act as cornerstone investors. Meta shares rose about 1.6% in premarket trading.
