Nvidia's Jensen Huang says he told Nscale to 'work around the clock' after data center setbacks
Speaking at a GTC Berlin press conference, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said he told UK neocloud Nscale, which Nvidia backs, to "work around the clock" to fix delays, equipment failures and power constraints at some of its data center sites. Nscale is also facing investor pushback over the roughly $30 billion valuation it is targeting in its IPO, and Microsoft recently pulled out of anchoring its Loughton, Essex site after grid power there slipped into the 2030s. Huang said neoclouds will find solutions because "demand is really high, and they just need working capital," noting that customers now expect sites running within six months rather than three years.
