Nscale in talks to sell Anthropic another $45 billion in AI computing power
Nvidia-backed Nscale is negotiating a second deal worth about $45 billion to supply Anthropic with computing power from a second building at its Monarch data center campus in West Virginia, Bloomberg first reported and a person familiar with the matter later told Reuters. The new building would deliver about 460 megawatts using Nvidia's Vera Rubin chips, and an agreement could come within days. It would follow Anthropic's $45 billion Nscale deal in August, and comes shortly after Microsoft pulled out of anchoring Nscale's flagship UK data center over grid power delays.
