Anthropic signs its first Canadian data centre lease at EverWind's C$10B Nova Scotia campus
Anthropic has signed a lease with EverWind for data centre capacity at Point Tupper, Nova Scotia, its first data centre agreement in Canada. Anthropic will take the first phase of the campus, a 95-megawatt facility due online in late 2027, for at least 20 years; the lease value wasn't disclosed. EverWind plans more than C$10 billion for the campus and new onshore wind power, with a 325 MW expansion targeted for 2028, which it calls the largest privately funded investment in the province's history.
